The Lord Blesses

Made this card using Our Daily Bread Designs stamp Rocking Chair, & the Scripture stamp is also a Our Daily Bread stamp from Bless This Home stamp set
I colored in the rocking chair image with watercolor pencils.
I made the background to hopefully resemble a quilt :-)   I distressed all the edges of the four squares...then added a sheer pink ribbon/bow.

I am entering this into the ODBD Challenge #180 - Circle or Square It
(three or more circles or squares, not layered)

  1. My first thought was, the background looks like a home made quilt. Granny always had one over the back of her homemade rocking chair. Absolutely a darling image and layout. Thank you for sharing your beautiful creation with us this week. It is an honor for us to have you visit.

  3. Oh, Debbie, it's good to see you again this week for the ODBD Shining the Light challenge! We always love to see your beautiful work! And this is dear to my heart, since I'm a (former) quilter! I love this image and how you've colored it like a granny quilt, which I made years ago. And the squares remind me of a quilt too! Great challenge card, and so glad you joined us again! Happy Thanksgiving, and may God continue to bless you! Hugs!
