2nd Birthday Card using ODBD

The challenge at ODBD's is a two week Birthday challenge.  This is my second card made for it.
I used ODBD die cuts Asters and Leaves to cut out my flowers and leaves.
I used ODBD Blooming Garden Paper Collection to cut out a flower pot, and with the same paper I fussy cut out the shovel and tools/pot and added it to the one side of the flower pot.  I also cut out a tag and stamped on the Happy Birthday using ODBD Ornate Border Sentiments.

Happy Birthday

The challenge at ODBD this week (actually this challenge runs for 2 weeks this time) is Birthdays - and it's to use only ODBD stamps.
Birthday cards are always good to have on hand.  Probably will make another one for this challenge :-)
To make my card I used one of the floral designs paper from the ODBD Blooming Garden Paper Collection for the base of my card.  I then layered a yellow scalloped cardstock over it.  I used ODBD stamp called Cupcake Plate, colored in with Promarkers.  I used Dimensional Magic on the cake plate to give it some dimension.  I then cut it out and attached it to my card.  I then stamped on the Happy Birthday using ODBD stamp set Ornate Border Sentiments.   I also added white ribbon down the left side and a white bow.

Bridal Shower Card

I went to a bridal shower yesterday for my niece.
This is the card that I made for her.
I got the inspiration for this from a card I saw on Pinterest.
I embossed the background with a cloud pattern embossing folder.  The dress and umbrella are cut out using the Cricut cartridge Everyday Pop Up Cards.  The hearts were cut out with a punch, using the same patterned paper that I cut the umbrella out with.  I also put a white flower with a pearl in the center of it on the dress.

John 8:32

Made this card using this week's Scripture word art from
 Word Art Wednesday
I also used a Suzanne Woolcott Gorjuss stamp that I purchased from Santoro London.
I spilled coffee on the insert card that has the name of the stamp, so I don't know the actual name of this stamp.   I do know the picture tube of this is called Pale Pink.   I colored the images in with Memento markers.  The Scripture is framed using a Spellbinders die cut, and I sponged pink ink around the edges of it.   I also sponged the same pink ink around all of the edges of the card.  I then added black flourishes.

Have A Good Day

I made this card using this color inspiration photo from Peachy Keen:

What inspired me was the window.  I cut the window frame out using the cricut Spring Cottage Cartridge. I made my own window shutters.  I colored in the background of my card with a blue Promarker...and also a green Promarker for the grass.
I added flower brads to the flower box, added a fence and a flower shape sentiment that I wrote Have A Good Day and then stamped on this cute face using Peachy Keen Everyday Character Faces.

Encouragement Card

I have a friend who is going through a rough time right now...so I want to send her a little encouragement to let her know that I am thinking of her, and praying for her.

Here is the front of the card:
Here is the inside of the card:

The base of my card is tan, then I used Our Daily Bread Designs die cut Vintage Flourish Pattern in ivory.  I stamped on an ODBD stamp called Rose and colored it in with Promarkers.  I then used ODBD die cut Decorative Vase, which after cutting it out I embossed the pattern on to it.   I then sponged pink ink around the inside of the frame of the flower/vase.     For the inside of the card I used ODBD stamp set Faith.

Happy Wedding Day

I made this wedding card for my niece who is getting married using a Darice Embossing Folder for the background.
Turns out the pattern matches this Spellbinders Die Cut called Fantastic Flourish One.  I cut it out and embossed it on pink cardstock.  I also used Spellbinders Blossom Tags and Accents for the sentiment, which I also embossed after cutting it out.   I stamped on Happy Wedding Day in black ink, and added two little white brads on each side.   I then added a pink sheer bow and a silver metal heart which has Love engraved in it.

I discovered a new challenge blog (new to me) called Die Cut Diva's and their June's challenge is called Is It Yours, Mine or Our's?    I chose the "Ours" theme which is to create a Wedding or Anniversary card.   So I am entering this card into it (my first post on this challenge blog.)

Mixed Media Journal

I had a nice writing tablet that the front cover was messed up on...so I decided to cover it and use it for a journal.  I started out by putting a white cardstock over it.  Then I embossed two smaller white cardstocks, one with a button pattern & one with a gears pattern.  After I attached those I put a thin layer of gesso over it all and then sprayed painted it with a lavender color.   I then added several different things to it - lace, a Flag sticker, a printed heart chipboard, 2 green glitter gems, a covered button, a cat, 2 different flower designs, heart clouds (the cat, 2 flower patterns & the cloud are all cut out from magazines), a silver metal flower, foam letters & a handmade red flower I made out of used dryer sheets, red spray paint, glitter glue, and a brad.

UnstampaBelles is a challenge blog that does not use Stamps of any kind.

White on White

I made this card for this weeks challenge at Our Daily Bread Designs...which is White on White.
I embossed my card with a Quatrefoil embossing folder.   I used ODBD Ornamental Crosses Die Cuts...cutting four different crosses out and then I layered them.  I also used ODBD Canning Jar Die Cuts (the small jar) and stamped on four of the word stamps from ODBD Sweet Williams small stamp set. I added white lace to the top of the two jars.   I then used ODBD Vintage Flourish Pattern Die Cut to cut out the frame for the main wording, which is from ODBD The Cross stamp set.  I then added white pearls to the top of my card, and also on each side of the frame.

Thinking of you - Dahlia

Made this card using Penny Black clear stamp set called Dahlias.
The dahlia is done with watercolor red paint. The leaves are colored in with a green distress marker.  I cut the dahlia out and attached it with 3D foam dots.  The "Thinking of you" sentiment is from the same stamp set, which I stamped on a pinkish cardstock, distressed the edges and sponged around the edges with light green ink and also attached with 3D foam dots.    The background is a patterned letter print.
