Happy Thanksgiving - Bargello Technique

Made this card for this weeks challenge at CCEE Stampers.
The challenge is to make a card using the Bargello Technique.  They provided this Tutorial for it.
Here is the card I made:
I used a couple of sheets of patterned papers...one wood patterned & one pies and leaves patterned.
The words are foam stickers, and I added two leaves to the top corners.

Revelation 3:20

Went to our local craft store today and spotted this door.  It stands 10 inches high.
I painted it, added the Scripture Verse Revelation 3:20, the door nob and the hearts to it.

Because of Christ...I am

Made this journal page based off of the "Who I Am In Christ" from Freedom In Christ Ministries.
After I wrote everything out I used watercolor paints on it.

I have a bookmark with these listed on that I keep in my Bible.
I go to it a lot...it is very helpful and a good reminder of just who we are In Christ.

Art Box

I have an old heavy cardboard box that is in pretty bad shape that I wanted to re-do to use to keep my "go to" art supplies in.  So I painted it in blue, red & yellow...then I added 3D art stickers on it.
Here is my progress:
The box and paints I used
After painting it
The 3D stickers I used
The front of my box
The top of my box

It's nothing fancy...but I like how it turned out.

The Journey Begins At Home

Made this mixed media journal page using water paint, texture paste, stamps, markers, and stickers.
The background is done in water paint.  The tree is stenciled on with my homemade texture paste...which I put on pretty thick.  I wanted it to really stick out.  I then used Promarkers and colored it in.  The sentiment & house are Unity stamps set called Begins at Home...and the flowers are also a Unity stamp called Charming Cone Flowers, which I colored in with Promarkers.  The clouds stamps are some that I bought years ago. The butterflies, dog and cat are all stickers.

Jars of Cheer

It's a new month, which means Imagine That...Digi's by Kris is having their November Progressive Challenge.  This month Kris has given those who played in last month's progressive challenge this adorable kit free to use for the challenge.
I just love this kit!

I used the precolored jars of You're so Sweet & the Thankful for...You.
I used a wood grain paper for my background, then added a leaf border to the top and bottom.  I then added 6 pink candy gems to the left hand side bottom, and right hand side top.  Don't know if you can tell...but I used Dimensional Magic to the tops of both jars.

Hope you will come and play :-)

Scrapping Everyday Miracles - November Challenge

It's a new month and new challenge at Scrapping Everyday Miracles.
This month's theme challenge is Thankful November.
Our Inspirational Theme is Song of Solomon 2:4 - He brought me to the banqueting house, and His banner over me was love.
Here is what I made this challenge:
My background is made using bleeding craft tissue, in several colors.  I hand drew on the banner & the Love and the Cross.  I printed out the Scripture verse on yellow cardstock, cutting it out and gluing them on...then I used a black coloring pencil and traced around each one.   The "banquet house" is a 3D sticker.

So come on over and play along with us at Scrapping Everyday Miracles!
