ODBD Wheat Cross

Made this card using a patterned paper for the base of my card.  I stamped on an Our Daily Bread Designs stamp called "Wheat Cross".    I cut out four corner borders using my cricut Art Philosopy cartridge.  I added two brown brads (representing the nails nailed into Jesus' hands.)

I am entering this into:
(use each number in 2-0-1-4 for a recipe)
1 image - 2 brads - 0 sentiment - 4 corner borders

  1. Powerful symbols in this lovely card Deb! Love how you let the wheat cross and brads speak for themselves without a sentiment! Thanks so much for Shining the Light at ODBD!

  2. What a lovely card. The border corners draw the eye to the cross and I like how you've likened the brads to the nails in Jesus' hands - what a reminder of what He has done for us! Thanks so much for joining us this week at the ODBD Shining the Light Challenge! Elizabeth

  3. What a beautiful card Debbie!! I just love the two brads to represent the nails, the cross, and the red and white reminding us of His blood shed for us!! Very powerful card!! Thanks for sharing your talent with us and joining the ODBD challenge!!

  4. Oh, Deb, what a powerful and striking image, and I love how it visually represents so beautifully what Christ has done for us! What a blessing that we are able to share our faith in Christ using our love for stamping! It's always such a delight to see one of your cards for the ODBD Shining the Light challenge! You truly shine His light! Warm hugs, Cheryl
