August Challenge at Scrapping Everyday Miracles

It's time for our August challenge at Scrapping Everyday Miracles!

Scripture Focus for this month -
But you, beloved, building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ that leads to eternal life.     Jude 1:20,21

This month I made for our Scripture Inspiration:
I did a Bible journaling page using acrylic paints, some stamps and a stencil.
I tried to do that white crayon resist technique, but it didn't turn out very well...I ended up tearing my page.  So I printed out the verse on white paper and glued it onto my page.

Hope you will come and join us at Scrapping Everyday Miracles
We always have a card sketch, a layout sketch & our Scripture Focus.
Plus a prize!

  1. I LOVE the boldness of your page, Deb! Sending up our prayers, knowing the Jesus WILL hear us + holding onto the promise of his answer. Beautiful!

Sorry that your page tore while trying a new technique. Glad to know that you recovered it, though! I'm not familiar with the white crayon resist technique...can you fill me in, please?

    1. Thank you Martice.

The white crayon resist technique is where you use a white crayon and color it completely over the area that you want to reveal, and then you are suppose to be able to paint over it...then when the paint is completely dry, you scrape off the paint that is over the crayon and the paint peels off, revealing the area that you did it on.
(in all honesty, I did use a cheap color crayon..don't know if that is why?)
