Our family is having a reunion soon, and we are each bringing pictures to it of family members who are no longer with us. I'm bringing one of my Grandparents. This is a picture from their 50th Wedding Anniversary.
This is made on a canvas. I used some watercolor paints and Gelatos on the background. I used a stencil of old clocks and joint compound to give it texture. I then used a Gelato on it to color it in some. I used an old music sheet which I tore and distressed the edges. I added some burlap that I also unraveled a little. I used foam numbers and letters for the 50th, coloring them in with a goldish color promarker. I added their picture onto the music sheet. I then added some orange and white bakers twine, and some gold ribbon with sticker dots on the ends.
