Sand Dollar & Flip Flops

Made this card using Our Daily Bread Designs stamp set Ocean Treasures & Flip Flops Die.
I sponged the card with blue and tan to represent the sky and sand - adding red netting.
I also used Spellbinders die Blossom Tags & Accents.  I sponged the die frame with brown and then sanded it with sandpaper to give it a sandy look. I then stamped on the sand dollar in white onto it. I stamped the saying on with a brown ink.  I made the flip flops out of the same tan color, using a darker brown for the thongs part...and attached them to the netting.

I made this for the ODBD's sketch challenge....here is their sketch:

  1. What a fun summer take on the sketch Debbie!! I love the combo of the flip flops with the sand dollar and your sentiment. The fibers you added remind me of netting or fish nets. Thanks for joining us at ODBD!!
