Last Page of my First Journal

Today I completed the last page of my first Journal that I started back in August of 2014.
Here is the page I made:
I painted the background with different colors of paint.  Then I used stencils from Her Blessed Designs - both the All Things & the women on her knees praising the Lord.
I used a brick foam stamp that I had made...then I wrote in words that seem to always try to get us down in life.  Then I wrote When life knocks you down - Look Up.

Here is another page I made using the same stencil set:

Scrapping Everyday Miracles February Challenge

It's a new challenge at Scrapping Everyday Miracles
This month's Scripture Theme is:
Deuteronomy 6:5
Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.

Here is what I made for it:
I made a journal page.  The background was made using several colors of paint. I hand wrote on the words and the heart.  You can't really tell, but I used liquid glass over the heart.  I then stamped on different foam stamps that I made, and also used some bubble wrap.

Hope you will come on over to Scrapping Everyday Miracles and play along with us!

January Challenge at Scrapping Everyday Miracles

Happy New Year!
It's a new challenge at Scrapping Everyday Miracles
This month's Scripture Theme is:
2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!

Here is the card I made:
I used a word print cardstock for the base of my card.  I stamped on a background stamp and then added my border across the card...and then used rub-ons.  I also stamped on the sentiment.  Then added little red hearts along the bottom & one on the top.

Here is the card sketch:

She Art - She Is A Child Of God

I made this She Art girl on a Journal page, instead of on canvas.
The background is spread on using ink on baby wipes.  I then used foam stamps and bubble wrap & I also used a star pattern roller stamp.  The girl is made with paper, and her hair is painted on.

She Art - she is beautiful

This is week 3 Lesson
This is called "she is beautiful & genuine"
The background was made by layering newspaper on it, then painting over it.  Then I used stencils, stamps, bubble wrap and rub-ons.   The dress on the girl is blue jean material.

There are still more projects for all three lesson weeks that I still plan to work on.

This is a three week workshop.
I have enjoyed these girls for a long time, so happy that I finally signed up for it.

The sun is painted on, the birds and music score are rub-ons, and I added flower brads to it in the grass & one in her hat.  Her dress is made using tissue paper crinkled up....and the lace at the top of her dress is a shawl.

This is a three week workshop.
I have enjoyed these girls for a long time, so happy that I finally signed up for it.

She Art - she is a friend

I am taking a She Art Workshop...this is my first project.
(week 1 - lesson 1)
This is called "she is a friend"
This is on a 8X10 canvas.  I used pick tissue for the background.  The girl is done using paper. I used texture paste to make the sun rays, stamps, flower stickers, heart sticker, word stickers, and rubons.

This is a three week workshop.  So I still have two more projects to make.
I have enjoyed these girls for a long time, so happy that I finally signed up for it.
