Made this card by sponging on blue and pink inks for the background.
I used Our Daily Bread Designs stamp set Quiet Waters.

another Easter card

I made this card using the cricut cartridge Stretch Your Imagination.
The bunny, basket, eggs & bird are all cut out from the cartridge.
I colored the background in using blue & pink markers.   The Happy Easter is cut out from some Easter paper cardstock.   I also added some cotton to the bunny tail & a lavender and white twine bow to the top of the basket.
I attached all the items with 3D foam dots.

Happy Easter

A couple of months ago I purchased the Create A Critter cricut cartridge from JoAnn's when it was on sale for $19.99        I decided to finally try it out :-)
I cut out the bunny and the hello sentiment with the bird on top.  I really like this cartridge, and I know I will be using it again soon.
For the bunny I used a darker pink (almost looks red) cardstock & white cardstock.  For the hello sentiment I used blue & white cardstock.    The background design is a sheet of patterned Easter greetings (also purchased at JoAnn's.)   I added some grass, and four little eggs.

April's Scrapbooking Challenge at Heart 2 Heart

Laugh Me Up April
          * 12" x 12" layout(s) OR mini album showing your funniest memory of all time. I am sure we all have at least one photo or story that's pretty hilarious.
          *  Must incorporate CTMH Bakers twine on the layout.
          * At least 1 photo required.

Here is my scrapbook layout:
My layout is from a trip I took to see my cousin in CA.  We went to the Arboretum for the day, and there was a white duck that took a liking to my cousin.   This duck chased after her the whole time we were there quaking at her.   He would not leave her alone.  The picture doesn't really show how funny it was...but it was hilarious.   We laughed so hard  :-)
For my layout I used red cardstock, I printed out the title of The Arboretum and distressed all the edges of it.  I also stamped a butterfly in the corner of it...using CTMH Stamp Set "You Are My Happy"    The Good times are shared stamp is also from the same stamp set.   The flowers and birds chipboards are from the CTMH Chantilly Elements Pack.  The two little flowers are cut with my Cricut Machine using the CTMH Artiste Cartridge.    I used a white chipboard tag to write my adventure on...and then attached it with some CTMH red & white Bakers Twine.

The top picture of the house is the house they used in the television series Fantasy Island.

Hope you will join us this month for the Heart 2 Heart Scrapbooking Challenge.

April's Progressive Challenge #19 at Imagine That...Digi's by Kris

Kris at "Imagine That...Digi's by Kris" has provided another adorable image (actually two different Images & Sentiments) to those who play along in her Freebie Progressive Monthly Challenge.
This month's is called:
Lady Bug Boots & Daisies Planter

Here is the card I made:
I used the image without the cute little ladybugs on the feet.
I colored everything in with Memento Markers (I used a dark green for the leaves, which I think was a mistake because it looks black in my picture) - and then fussy cut it out.
I attached it to my card with 3D foam...along with two butterflies and two hearts.
I also attached the sentiment with 3D foam too.   I used a pretty flowered pattern for the base of my card.
