Feeling Sketchy Challenge # 77

It's time for a new sketch challenge at Feeling Sketchy!

Here is the sketch:
Here is what I made:
I am using our sponsors (StitchyBear's) image called Apple Pie.
I used a kraft cardstock for the base of my card. I colored it in with Promarkers. Added green and red glitter strips and a couple of stickers (the sugar/salt containers and the rolling pin with dough.)  I stamped on the "thinking of you" in a green color.

Our sponsor this month is StitchyBear Digital Stamps
Prize $12 to spend on images from the following creators

And also we will have a standing Sponsor each month for 2014:

Prayers & Praises Journal

Made this Prayers & Praises journal using my Cricut machine to cut out the different shaped pieces inside of the journal - and also the Cross, Dove and words (prayers & praises).   The Scripture verse is stamped on.
I get together every other week with three other ladies and we have a little Bible Study, do praying and praises to the Lord.
I made three of these to give to them at our next meeting...to start out our new year together.
They all look the same.

This week's challenge at Twist of Faith  is Favorites.
Share something using your favorite image or your favorite technique.  It can be about your favorite event that happened in 2013 or about your favorite food or person.  It could represent your favorite toy as a child or your favorite color.  It can even include your favorite verse.

One of my favorite things to do is to make things for people!
(one of the reasons I love to make cards is to give them out to people...just to lighten/brighten their day, encourage them, put a smile on their face, etc.)

Quiet Waters

Made this card to send to a friend that needs some encouragement.
I used the stamp set "Quiet Waters" from Our Daily Bread Designs.
I embossed black cardstock with a Star pattern embossing folder from Darice.
I stamped on the deer scene with a frosted white inkpad on an oval shape...then added paper lace around it.
I then also added some lace around all of the edges.
On the inside of the card I stamped on Psalm 23:2 "He leads me beside quiet waters. He restores my soul!"
which is from the same ODBD stamp set.
