It's time for our May challenge at Scrapping Everyday Miracles!

Our Scripture Focus - John 15:5 

“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.

I made a mixed media project featuring our scripture focus.

 I actually made this painting in an online art class.  It fit so perfectly for this month's challenge...so I just altered the text on it.   It is all hand painted on except for the girl, she is a stamp.

She Loves 2 Art Class - Lesson 9 & Lesson 10

I am taking an Art Class through His Kingdom Come that is taught by Tara McGuire - Her Blessed Designs.    This is a 10 lesson workshop.  The main focus of  She Loves 2 is to create and gain knowledge of how much God loves and cherishes you!

Lesson 9 is called Completely Renewed

Here is what I created for it.

 I made a template of a Cross to use for this lesson.  All around the edges of the Cross and at the top of the grass hill I used water color crayons...drawing lines of different colors, then wetting my finger and spreading out the colors.  The sky and the grass were done using watercolor paint.  The Completely Renewed words are stamped on...as is the 2 Cor. 5:17

Lesson 10 is called Live To Love

Here is what I created for it.

 Everything was painted on with watercolor paints.  I didn't do such a good job on my angel wings, it looks more like she has her arms raised.  The hearts and Live To Love are stamped on.

I really enjoyed this art class a lot.  It showed me more and more God's love for me.

She Loves 2 Art Class - Lesson 8

This lesson is called Completely Forgiven

Here is what I created for it.

 Everything is hand painted on...except for the girl, there was a template provided for her.  I colored her in with Promarkers.

She Loves 2 Art Class - Lesson 7

I am taking an Art Class through His Kingdom Come that is taught by Tara McGuire - Her Blessed Designs.    This is a 10 lesson workshop.  The main focus of  She Loves 2 is to create and gain knowledge of how much God loves and cherishes you!

This lesson is called Completely Secure & Unique

Here is what I created for it.

 The background was done using a brayer with different colors of paint.  I used newspaper for the girl, and patterned paper for the dress and boots.  I painted her hair on.  The birds, butterflies, and little tree of leaves are all rub-ons.  The words on the top of the page are letter stickers.  The "She" words were printed out and glued on.

This lesson is called Wonderfully Destined

Here is what I created for it.

 The background is made splattering different colors of Watercolor Paints on it.  The girl and the text right below it are from a stamp set from Close To My Heart.  The Wonderfully Destined and the Trust & Obey are stick on letters.  I hand wrote the words on the bottom.

This lesson is called Wonderfully New

Here is what I created for it.

 The background was made using spray inks.  In this lesson we were to use our own body prints.  So I did both my foot and my hand.  It was really fun painting my foot and making my foot print...and also doing the same with my hand.  It was messy :-)   I then painted on the heart and wrote on the Scriptures.

 My background was colored in with Watercolor Paint.

I used stencils for the flowers and butterflies....then added a couple of rub-ons and the Thinking Of You is a stamp.
