Just A Note with Butterflies

I just found a new blog called CCEE STAMPERS
I like what I see on there :-)
Their challenge right now is to Repurpose Something.
I have a friend who sews onto cards, and a while back she sent me a card with a beautiful butterfly on it.   That is what I am "repurposing".
Here is the card I made:
I embossed a white card with a Sizzix Butterfly corner pattern embossing folder.  I colored in the butterflies and the patterns on there with Memento markers.  Then stamped on the Just a Note.
On the card from my friend, I cut the butterfly off, and attached it with 3D dots.

God Bless the USA

Made this card using a blue cardstock which I embossed with a star pattern, then I sandpapered it.
The Flag Heart and the Sentiment are from Our Daily Bread Designs stamp set Heart and Soul.
I then used ODBD Ornate Hearts Die Cuts to cut out the heart and the red border.
I colored in the heart with Memento markers.   For the sentiment I distressed the edges of it, then sponged on red ink around it.

Dance

Made this card for the challenge at UnstampaBelles.
I embossed my card with a music embossing folder, and then sponged on red ink.  At first I wasn't real happy with the way it looked...but the more I looked at it, the more I liked it.
The dancing couple is cut out using my Cricut machine, and the Dance is a 3D sticker.
The "belt" around the ladies waist is white ribbon.

Summer Treats

Made this card using three different Cricut Cartridges - the ice cream cone is cut from Paper Dolls for Everyday, the watermelon is cut from Block Party, the the Sweet is cut from the Artbooking.
On the ice cream cone I scored the cone part of it.   I love mint chocolate chip ice cream and watermelon :-)

Isaiah 45:18

I made this card to display the Majestic-ness of our Lord God.
I cut out a large circle (earth) and used several colors of ink and paint on it.
I printed out Isaiah 45:18, cutting each sentence and separating them on to my card.
I then used a star punch, adding a star to each top corner.

Isaiah 45:18
For this is what the LORD says— He who created the heavens, He is God; He who fashioned and made the earth, He founded it; He did not create it to be empty, but formed it to be inhabited— He says: “I am the LORD, and there is no other."

Christmas in July

It's Christmas in July for the Progressive Challenge at Imagine That...Digi's by Kris.
This adorable image is called Meowy Mousemas
I used the pre-colored image, cutting it out with a Spellbinders Die Cut.
The sentiment is also from the set, which I distressed the edges and then sponged red ink around the edges.   I stamped on the Merry Christmas.

Kris supplies the month's image kit free to those who played along in the previous challenge.

Thinking of You

I made this center step "thinking of you" card using two different Cricut Cartridges - Kate's ABCs & Everyday Pop Up Cards.   The flowers and leaves are from the Kate's ABCs and the flower pot and thinking of you are from the Everyday Pop Up Cards.   I embossed the flower pot with a dotted embossing folder, and I added buttons to the centers of the flowers.
