Sunday Stamps Color Combo Challenge # 47
Made this card for the Sunday Stamps Color Combo Challenge # 47
Here is the color combo to follow:
I didn't have the glitter gold...so I used brushed gold - pretty in pink and midnight muse.
I used a Sizzix frame die cut to cut out the pink frame. Then stamped it with Melon Mambo ink, and also stamped the "thinking of you" in Melon Mambo. And I used SU disigner paper.
I added a strip of midnight muse between 2 pink ribbons to try to bring out the midnight muse coloring.
I am a little disappointed in the coloring of my picture that I took :(
The colors look much more true on the actual card than in the picture.

Feeling Sketchy Challenge # 58
It's time for another challenge at Feeling Sketchy
Here is the sketch:
The extra is for the sentiment to be the main focus on the card.
Here is my card:
I used yellow cardstock and embossed it with a Honeycomb embossing folder.
Then added a bluish center cardstock to it.
The saying is "Sadness flies away on the wings of time"
Added four yellow flowers to the one side...and two butterflies on the other side.
Hope you will join us this week for our challenge at Feeling Sketchy!

Progressive Challenge # 6
It's time again for another of Kris's freebie challenges over at "Imagine That...Digi's By Kris"
This is challenge # 6 - Kris gave us this beautiful rose...a variety of them!
Some with beautiful writing on them...and one with just the rose.
This is the one I choose.....with the verse from John 1:16 on it.
(Kris provides those who have played along in the previous challenges with the free digi - if you haven't played along...you can purchase her image and start.)
I colored the rose in with Promarkers. Then I layed a piece of Vellum paper over it to give it a "softer look".
I then added brads to the corners.
I am linking it up to her Progressive Freebie Challenge #6
am also linking it to Word Art Wednesday Challenge #78 - Anything Goes
Kris is the Guest Designer there for the month of May :-)
